The United Architects of the Philippines – Bahrain Chapter Marked their 4th Chartering Anniversary with a dinner celebration at the Domain Hotel last Feb. 19, 2016.
The celebration was made even special as the organization inducted 10 new architects, who last year took the Specialized Professional Licensure Board Examination for Architects in Abu Dhabi, UAE and got an unprecedented 100% passing rate, with Ar. Michael Senados, finishing in the top 10.
The SPLBE is an annual event held in multiple cities outside the Philippines by the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission to allow Filipino Expats to take their respective board examination ranging from Architecture and Engineering, Medical, Accounting and Teaching professionals.
His Excellency Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver graced the occasion with new Labor Attaché Ms. Cynthia Lamban also in hand.
The Ambassador praised the efforts of the organization, headed by their president, Ar. Donnie C. Sadia, in continuously reaching out to their Filipino colleagues and helping them in their quest to get the title of Architect. He also praised the organization and its members for leading the way in the architecture and construction industry in the Kingdom.
To date, the UAP – Bahrain Chapter has produced a total of 43 Architects, and is currently running its review sessions for the 2016 SPLBE, for the 5th year consecutively.
The organization has also been actively participating in programs and activities in promoting the welfare and wellbeing of Filipino compatriots, doing charity works, seminars and sports fests in cooperation with various professional and social groups as well as the Philippine Embassy.
