No. 15  Manila Ocean Park

An oceanarium which opened on March 2008 in Manila Philippines near the Quirino Grandstand at Rizal Park. It displays several species of marine life from fishes to corals, sharks, marine flora and fauna, etc.

Also known as Luneta park and it is a historic urban park located along Roxas Boulevard City of Manila, adjacent to the old walled city of Intramuros. An image of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the country’s national hero, stood there.

2,000 year old terraces that were carved in the mountains of Ifugao by their indigenous ancestors. It is made into like a series of staircase like steps wherein various crops are grown having a very good irrigation system too.

Small island in the Philippines located northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas. These are geological formation in Bohol Province, Philippines. They are covered in green grass that turns brown (like chocolate) during the dry season, hence the name. The hills are composed of limestones covered with a topsoil and grass. In between the hills are well developed flat plains that contains numerous caves and springs. One way to  view the Chocolate Hills is at “Sagbayan Peak”, a mountain resort and recreation center  in Sagbayan town, about 75 km (47 miles) northwest of Tagbilaran City

A highly urbanized city located in the province of Benguet in northern Luzon island of the Philippines. Being quoted as the “Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio indeed is a cool place to enjoy family moments. You can visit the Burnham Park with a boating lake for unwinding, the Igorot Garden filled with numerous ornamental plants especially species thriving in cool weather, who would not include the strawberry farms wherein you can enjoy and experience harvesting fresh strawberries and eat it. Northwesternmost municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. numerous pocket beaches and many snorkeling and Scuba diving spots. The area was designated a Man and Biosphere Reserve of UNESCO in 1973 and has some of the most diverse coral reef diving in Asia. The marine environment has benefited in recent years from the influx of tourist dollars. This has seen a huge reduction in the number of fishermen in the area, as they gain higher revenue from tourists.  Among the famous beaches in Puerto Galera are Sabang Beach and White Beach, which have an active nightlife with numerous bars and restaurants.

It is included in the new 7 wonders of nature consisting of 8.2km long underground river that flow directly to the sea. The lower half of the river is brackish and is affected by the ocean’s tide. An underground river directly flowing into the sea, and the associated tidal influence, with a discovery of atleast 11 minerals, limestones karst mountain landscapes with unusual yet so beautiful stalactites and stalagmites formations are observed on the caves. It represents a habitat of biodiversity conservation.
